Lady Gaga is having anything but a “Bad Romance” with record buyers. Her debut album, “The Fame,” has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, she announced today on her Twitter.

“Celebrate! Rejoice 2nite little monsters,” she wrote with the news. “The Fame” becomes the first album to surpass the mark since Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” album.

“The Fame,” which is now coupled with her follow-up EP “The Fame Monster,” is sure to sell even more. It’s currently in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Albums chart in the U.S., and is still a monster-seller in other markets as well.

Gaga is currently on her “Monster Ball” arena tour overseas. The next single off “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster,” “Telephone” with Beyonce, is currently climbing up at pop radio. The video officially premieres next week.
