According to Ryan Seacrest’s Twitter page…”Fox is saying the contestants will have  MySpace, Twitter, Facebook pages on Idol.”

That means the 24 contestants will also be battling it out with Twitter followers and Facebook friends?  This will definitely give the contestants a better way to connect to their fans and give them a taste of fame.  What if people are trending their favorite and the results are shown in Twitter trends as to “I voted for So and So.”  Will that give away who is the most popular?  Last year many people didn’t use Twitter and now it has become such an addiction for people of all ages, especially the audience who watches a little reality show called American Idol.

This is big news, I am very curious as to how it will turn out once their pages are launched!
