The rumors of engagement surrounding madly-in-love couple, Russell Brand and Katy Perry are indeed true. Us Weekly reports that Russell popped the question to his pop star lady love during their vacation in Jaipur, India and that Perry answered with a resounding yes.

A source close to Perry tells the mag that the singer has “never connected with anybody like this.” A snitch adds that the British comedian “is super into her. She says he makes her laugh like nobody else in the world.”

The couple’s whirlwind romance started in September and they seem to be going full-speed ahead. And I know that I’m not usually the optimistic type, but weirdly enough, I feel like these two might be perfect for one another. I’m predicting bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed as fruit at the wedding.
