Newlywed Khloe Kardashian and her basketball star husband Lamar Odom have splashed out $4 million (£2.5 million) on their first marital home.

The reality star and her Los Angeles Lakers beau have been house hunting since exchanging vows together in September.

The couple was reported to be close to signing the mortgage papers on Britney Spears’ huge mansion in Summit Circle in Beverly Hills.

But they have instead opted for a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in the gated community of Mulholland Park Estates in Tarzana, California.

And there is plenty of room for the rest of the Kardashian clan to come visit – the house has 15 car parking spaces, a home cinema and guest quarters.
